MED-NET meets CSOs to prepare the next activities of the Citizens‘ Forum

This forum will be based on a participatory approach, in order to achieve the strengthening of participation and democracy in Palestine. The goal is to collect several associations in Palestine, interested to share their experiences and activities. 
 
Objectives:

• Decide together all the issues relevant to the communication activities
• Identify targets, media tools, messages and all similar aspects
• Identify the subject of each advocacy campaign
• Propose other organizations to include in the national networks
• Discuss about the contribution of each national network to the regional level networking
• Decide on contents to be disseminated through community and independent media

 
The forums for the organizations of the national networks will be held every 2 months
 
Furthermore, 5 public events will be held, each one about a specific issue dealt in the framework of democratic reform. This forum will give the opportunity to reflect the current situation of the participatory processes, the status of the democratic reforms, the consequences of the last revolutions at regional level, the role of the new and independent media, which are growing in each country.
The use of new technologies will be encouraged, in order to enlarge the participation to the forum. The higher the number of participants (CSO and citizens) to this forum will guarantee democracy, pluralism and richness of points of view making the forum the most important achievement; through discussion and thematic and strategic orientation. The forum will be led by each the project coordinator and by each partner organisation.
